PLAYING IN THE SNOW IN TEXAS

This is funny! Yesterday it was 75 degrees and we had to turn on the a/c before we went to bed. Now it is snowing. LOL! Only in Texas! :) LOVE IT!

2009-Christmas Eve

The Girls Got their package from their Aunt Gina and I took pics of them with their new Build-A-Bears. They had Abigail over so they spent the afternoon coloring the cub condos. They also braved the frigid temps and 40 mile an hour winds to go out in the brief snow shower. I won't complain, at least we got to "see" snow on Christmas Eve.

Decorating Cookies With the Girls

I started a tradition a few years ago of making cutout cookies with my girls. I tend to be a perfectionist when it comes to these kind of things, so the Lord has had to grow me to the point of actually letting them do more than a few cookies and with more than just white icing and sprinkles. (Which by the way...I stressed over because they would end up EVERYWHERE!) :)

This year was WONDERFUL! We got out our decorating tips, I made decorators icing, and TONS of sprinkles. We also made lots of different colors and perfected the color brown! Yeah!

The cookies turned out beautiful. I had to ask them to be sure to save some for me to decorate! :) God is so good! May everyone have a Glorious Christmas and may our hearts stay focused on Jesus! Many Blessings!

My Very First Entry

I thought this might be a really easy way to post photos and updates on the girls and I for our family and friends. So...over the next few weeks I am going to try it out.
